Productivity & Collaboration Tools Release Calendar

For those of us in North America, and New England specifically, the start of spring signifies a fresh start. Our days are longer and warmer. We can finally start clearing out the garden debris accumulated since the fall. The sound of soccer practice and kids on bikes is in the near future.

And at Skillsoft, this spring brings the addition of new products to the Productivity & Collaboration Tools library, in addition to our usual release of new courses. We’re pleased to announce the addition of interactive exercises, new courses in Japanese and Italian, and Skills Benchmark Assessments.

The Productivity & Collaboration Tools team is pleased to release downloadable, interactive end-of-course exercises to help learners practice the learning objectives covered in selected courses. Our Excel 2019 and Word 2019 courses now contain the following resources:

• Instructions for completing the exercises
• A starting spreadsheet or document to get you started.
• A finished spreadsheet or document to serve as a reference for the intended outcome.
• Step-by-step answers to guide you to the correct result

To access these amazing additions, selected the “Resources” tab directly underneath the course player. Select which resource you wish to open and click download (see steps 1, 2, and 3 in the image below). Open the files using your version of Office and follow the instructions.

This spring also marks the addition of new Japanese and Italian courses. During 2022, we will focus on adding Excel 365 courses fully localized in both Japanese and Italian. These courses are developed using a Japanese and Italian version of Excel 365 and with native speaking instructors. We’re pleased the first two courses in each language were released in February of this year, with more to come in the spring.

In today’s environment, workforce development through skill acquisition is more important than ever. Skillsofts’ new Skill Benchmark Assessments are designed to provide a clear picture of where learners need upskilling, ensuring they spend more time on learning content that leads to new skill acquisition. Alongside the launch of this new assessment capability, the Productivity & Collaboration Tools library is releasing six Skill Benchmark Assessments:

• Outlook 2019
• PowerPoint 2019
• Word 2019
• Excel 2019
• Excel 365
• Word 365
