Organizations around the world spend billions of dollars annually to train key managers and leaders. Yet, most find little actual return on this investment, especially in the most important soft skill area of teaching these leaders how to recognize, acknowledge, and manage their personal feelings and the feelings of those around them. Promoting Emotional Intelligence in Organizations is the first book to offer training and development professionals the tools and data they need to sell and implement emotional intelligence training in their organizations.
