Overview/Description
The typical SAN is deployed using Fiber Channel because it is a far better option than Ethernet. The design of an FC SAN will depend on the overall requirements. This course focuses on FC storage networking concepts and the various ways that a FC SAN network can be designed and deployed. It also focuses on FC addressing, the fabric login process, and Zoning. In addition, the FC network requires FC switches. The Cisco MDS product line is designed for this task which you will discover as well. Network Attached Storage (NAS) is also covered in this course. This course is one of a series in the Skillsoft learning path that covers the objectives for the Cisco exam Understanding Cisco Cloud Fundamentals exam (210-451 CLDFND). This exam counts toward the CCNA Cloud certification.
