Money laundering lets criminal organisations hide the real source of illegally obtained money. Businesses and their employees need to take reasonable steps to ensure they don't facilitate this process, and to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) legislation. In this course, you'll learn what money laundering involves and why it's important to comply with your organisation's AML program. You'll also learn how to meet customer due diligence requirements and how to identify and report suspicious activities that could indicate money laundering. This course was developed with subject matter support provided by the law firm of Jackson McDonald.
