This 12-video course explores developing a product, and how to use Scrum, an Agile framework for developing, delivering, and sustaining complex products. Learners will examine how a product idea is initiated through conversations with stakeholders and analyzing the market. First, learn how to identify the product's purpose, and how to develop a product strategy and design plan. You will learn how to develop a product strategy in Scrum. Then examine how the product strategy is affected by the Scrum master product owner and Scrum team. You will examine how different groups of stakeholders have different requirements for the product, and how to use customer research as input for defining the product. Next, you will explore the three roles on every Scrum team, and how the team builds, refines, and owns product backlog; learn to set priorities; and determine the team's direction. You will examine how to create effective user stories. Finally, this course examines empathy maps, how they help understand customers, and product discovery techniques that deliver a successful product.
