Aragon Research Positions Skillsoft as a Leader in the Globe for Corporate Learning, 2019
BOSTON –August 27, 2019–Skillsoft, a global leader in corporate learning, today announced that it has been positioned a Leader by Aragon Research, Inc. in Globe™ for Corporate Learning, 2019 [1] for the fourth consecutive year.
Aragon Research, a technology-focused research and advisory firm committed to providing thought-leading, strategic research and trusted advisory services, recently released the eighth annual Aragon Research Globe for Corporate Learning. The Globe evaluates 19 technology and service providers that allow enterprises to manage and deliver all forms of learning. Learning continues to be a growing focus in the enterprise and the biggest challenge for managers and L&D is to power just-in-time learning experiences for users. Part of this is fueled by the growing C-Suite reality that a skilled workforce is critical to growth and that employee engagement is enhanced by a continuous learning experience.

The report highlighted that “Percipio was the first to add a learning assistant that enables just-in-time learning via its Embedded Learning Synchronized Assistant (ELSA) while the platform also offers an intuitive and personalized experience with AI-driven recommendations based on user interest and online behaviors.” Additional Percipio updates support the hosting of custom content (AICC, SCORM, etc.) and can aggregate content from a variety of free and paid sources.
The report also states that Skillsoft “has continued to expand and enhance what is one of the largest off-the-shelf content libraries and demand for learning content continues to grow.”
Skillsoft has been focused on numerous recent enhancements, including transforming its content to deliver video-based instruction via micro-learning through a scenario-based learning methodology to maximize retention as scientifically validated through neuroscience research. It has also expanded its massive off-the-shelf content libraries and added full Technology & Developer, Compliance, Leadership Development and Digital Transformation content solutions to the Percipio platform, which now supports multiple languages. Newly launched Skillsoft Aspire learning journeys for technology and developer professionals also provide critical job skills and role-based training.
