Leadership & Business Skills: October 2021 Releases and 90-day Development Plan

Throughout October, we’re pleased to continue to bring you relevant and engaging content designed for the modern, digital learner. From courses and events to digital books and a book club, there’s something for every learner.

We are excited to announce a new 25-course curriculum intended to educate learners about the skills required to become a Senior Professional in Human Resources®, as they prepare for the HRCI® SPHR® certification exam. HR Certification Institute® is the premier credentialing organization for the human resource profession. Available for U.S. operations, the SPHR® certification solidifies one’s credibility as an HR leader. Many of the courses are available now; we’ll continue to release courses each month so that the entire 25-course curriculum will be available by January 31, 2021. Find our more in our blog here.

Senior Professional in Human Resources: Introduction to SPHR®

Our new 5-course DEI curriculum has been popular and quite well received. In addition to the English offering, these five courses are now also available in Spanish, and we expect to have them available in German and French by the end of November of this year! Here's a look at the Spanish versions of our new 5-course DEI curriculum, available in the Business Skills offering:

We also continue to build new Aspire Journeys for Business Skills. We've created these journeys for the most in-demand and fastest-growing roles according to robust data collection from Burning Glass. In October we released Corporate Trainer Journey.

Have you seen our new course Leading in a Hybrid Workplace? We've created this course to meet the learning needs of modern team leaders who lead hybrid teams. In this course, you’ll learn about becoming a human-centered manager who can build a sense of community in a group separated by space and time. You’ll see how inequities can arise in hybrid teams, how to avoid them, and how to improve collaboration among physically separated workers. You’ll also explore strategies for maintaining high productivity and performance on hybrid teams.

Coming Soon to Percipio - Arabic Business Skills courses! Throughout November, we expect to release 25 courses in Arabic, across a variety of skills areas. The courses reflect a full scope of localization, including localized audio, screen text, captions, transcripts, test questions, and resources. In October, Off the Shelf featured Blockchain Basics: A Non-Technical Introduction in 25 Steps by Daniel Drescher. The author explains both the technical concepts that make up the blockchain and their role in business-relevant applications. This book bridges the gap between technical books about the blockchain and business-focused books. This selection is available on Percipio as a digital book and an audiobook.

The November featured selection in Off the Shelf isCorporations Compassion Culture: Leading Your Business Toward Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion by Keesa Schreane. In her book, she explores how to create a compassionate workplace that facilitates diversity and inclusion, as well as gender equality. This book is an essential read for anyone who is committed to changing the landscape of business for the better. This selection is available on Percipio as an audiobook and a book summary.
