In the Control stage of the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology, you need to find ways to ensure business process improvement. Two control tools from the Lean or Lean Six Sigma toolset specifically help here. First, total productive maintenance, or TPM, is a proactive equipment maintenance program that seeks to maximize the overall effectiveness of existing processes and equipment. And then the visual workplace helps to keep workers from wasting time and effort searching for materials. In this course, you'll learn about both of these tools and how to use them to drive process improvement, process control and process design. This course is aligned with ASQ's 2015 Six Sigma Green Belt Body of Knowledge.
